CLOSED SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS ACCESS ONLY DURING OPEN HOURS.

The librarians are ready to serve you with:

1. Aid in using indexes, books and journals.
2. Computer searches of MEDLINE and other databases.
3. Training on OVID and PUBMED.
4. Answers to your questions including location of publisher addresses, clarification of obscure references, and guidance in bibliography style.
5. Interlibrary loan.
6. The card catalog which includes cards for books located in the Medical Library.

Circulation Policy Most books and A V materials circulate for two weeks. Books may be checked out by signing the card located on the inside of the back cover. Renewals can usually be arranged but all materials must be returned by the end of the rotation.

Journals do not circulate. A copy machine is available for your convenience so that copies of articles can be made.

PLEASE SIGN FOR ANY MATERIAL YOU BORROW. REMEMBER, YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE CHECK OUT CARD MAKES YOU RESPONS1BLE FOR 1~ MATERLAL'S SAFE RETURN TO THE LIBRARY. FAILURE TO RETURN BORROWED MATERIALS WILL HOLD UP YOUR CLERKSHIP EVALUATION.

Copy Machine Policy Students have permission to make a SINGLE copy of library materials. Use the copier code displayed on the wall. Multiple copies must be done on the Medical Education copier.

There are no required reading materials for the Pediatric Clerkship, and no one "best" text. Recommended pediatrics texts for detailed discussions include: (Also see suggested learning resources and links from the gneral info; inpt and outpt area)
