Gen Med 2

You will see a variety of common and some unusual pediatric illnesses. The serivce is a combination of general pediatrics, gastroenterology, adolescent medicine and nephrology. Patients are all ages. Patients maybe on the medical care unit ( 3 Orange or 3 Yellow) or the Heart Kidney or Surgical care units (3 Green).

Rounds begin at 8:00 in the radiology reading room on the second floor. You should arrive early enough (by at least 7:30) am to contact your senior resident, round on your patients and pick up new patients if needed. To page your senior resident from inside the hospital dial 6600 and then the beeper number. From outside the hospital dial 259- and the beeper number.

Attending Rounds are Monday, Wednseday and Friday at 11 am in the 3 Yellow Conference Room unless otherwise directed.
