- To make lips look extra pouty, put lip gloss on the center of both your
top and bottom lips.
- By applying vaseline to your lips,
it mosturizes and smoothes them. Also, by blending it with lip liner or eye shadow you can make
a lip gloss!
- Another tip for smoothing your lips is brushing your lips with a dry toothbrush to get the dead skin off.
- By putting concealer or chapstick on lips before you apply lipstick it will help lipstick stay longer.
- For a 2 tone effect, put darker lip color in the middle of lips over a lighter color and blot outward for a fuller look.
- Try mixing different shades of lipstick because you
might just discover a totally unqiue color.
So even when you've bought the wrong
shade, mixing it around can give the lipstick a
new lease of life.
- Color your lips fully with a lip liner before
applying lipstick so that you won't be caught with
the lined look with lip stick gone in between .
- Use a lip liner that is lighter or close to the
lipstick color.
- To make lipstick stick longer to your lips, blot
with a piece of tissue in between coats of lip
lining and lipstick. Then cover your lips with an
used side of the same tissue and brush a thin layer
of loose powder. Remove tissue and press lips
together to set powder.
- Lipsticks make great new eye shadows too!
