The Fundamentals of Metric Driven Data Warehouse Design
I started writing this books several years ago when I was teaching a
course in data warehousing and could not find an appropriate text for the
class. I was nearly finished with it when the school reorganized and the
program in which I was teaching the course changed. Having to scramble to
adjust to the changing environment I had to put the book on hold. It is so
close to being finished that I really should get back to it, which I
intend to do. In the meantime, I am making what I have done so far freely
available.
If you teach a course in data warehousing and want something with a little
more depth than the trade publications, you might want to give it a try.
If you work in data warehousing and would like to understand what you are
doing in a richer context, it may have something to offer you as well.
