On finite-type invariants of virtual knots.
by

Gauss diagrams are a combinatorial presentation of knot diagrams, at the origin of the virtual knot theory due to Kauffman. Goussarov-Polyak-Viro and Fiedler showed that those diagrams are very convenient to describe finite-type invariants. We give a positive answer to a conjecture due to Polyak on the structure of these invariants in the case of virtual knots.
