Conference on Knot Theory and Its Applications to Physics and Quantum Computing

On the occasion of Professor Jozef H. Przytycki's 60th birthday and in honor of scientific legacy of Professor Istvan Ozsvath

January 6-9, 2015
The University of Texas at Dallas

This conference is devoted to connections between low-dimensional topology (in particular knot theory and quantum invariants), physics, and quantum computing. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to showcase latest developements in these areas and to engender new crossdisciplinary colaborations.

The conference is sponsored by The National Science Foundation, The School of Natural Sciences & Mathematics, and The Department of Mathematical Sciences at UTD. Partial support for participants is available with a preference for PhD students and recent PhD's. There is no registration fee. However, we request that all participants register and those willing to speak submit an abstract -- see tabs on the left.
