Mind Solutions Software, Inc. Announces Release of ClassifiedEdIT Software Upgrade

WASHINGTON, D.C. February 6, 2011 – Mind Solutions Software has announced the release of an exciting upgrade to their existing classified pagination application (Classified EdIT).  The upgraded release will be called ClassEdIT2 and is ready for immediate sale.

Classified EdIT is currently installed in 100 U.S., European and Australian locations. The new ClassEdIT2 software has been in beta testing at three U.S. locations (Boston, Phoenix and LA) since Spring, 2010.  Jim Jones, Production Director, at LA Newsweek says he expects to reduce his operating cost by 25% once ClassEdIT2 is fully migrated to production next month.

Patrick Duffy, President and CEO at Mind Solutions Software says, “ClassEdIT2 is going to offer our customers an opportunity to reduce their operating cost through improved automation and expanded use of zone products. The new application will automatically place display ads within the classified ad liner columns, reducing manual effort. The expanded zoning will allow our clients to produce up to 100-zone versions of a single product.”

The application upgrade process is expected to take approximately 90-days from time of purchase and will not require a hardware upgrade. Existing clients may remain on the UNIX AIX platform. However, ClassEdit2 is also compatible with the LINUX operating system.

Mind Solutions software originated in 1980 as a developer and vendor for the classified ad order system (Class OrderIT). Their easy to use interface and streamlined workflows soon made them an industry standard.  In 1990 they expanded their product line to include a classified pagination application (Classified EdIT). The same key system engineers that produced the original ad order system and the Classified EdIT application also master minded the ClassEdit2 upgrade.

Mind Solutions, Inc. emerged as an industry leader in 1980 and continues to be the premier vendor of Classified ad order and pagination software for the newspaper industry.
