This book is a Festschrift to celebrate the 60^th birthday of Professor Young-Key Kim-Renaud of George Washington University. 이 책 (“세계 석학들의 우리 말글과 문화 연구: 한국언어문화탐색”)은 김영기 교수의 회갑기념논문집으로 김영기교수의 “미국에 있어서의 한국언어학적 분석 현황”이라는 논문외에 26편의 한국 언어와 문화에 대한 광범위한 논문들이 실려있으며, 저자들은 한국과 미국, 일본, 프랑스, 독일, 영국, 이태리 등 각국의 저명한 교수들로 김영기와 오랜 친분을 가져온 학자들인데, 그들은 이 책 출판에 참여함으로써, 김영기교수의 한국 언어 문화에 한 공헌을 기념하였다. 이 책은 학술원에서 2003년 우수서적으로 선택되었다.
