PlanningWhile my goal is not to write new planning algorithms (work better left to much more clever people), I must understand in order to be able to better support this dominating application for the robotics domain. Every robot needs to plan, and it is far from an easy task. A large amount of this content was created with the Three Level Architecture in mind, so their ideology dominates some of the discourse. Particularly with the description of the interactions between a general planner / path planner and a local navigator. A description of how the model based architecture approaches planning (differently?) is needed. Also lacking is a review of work done for cooperative planning. |
