We’re awarded a URAF position for undergraduate students.
The GW URAF (Undergraduate Research Assistantship Fund) program is sponsored by GW’s Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research and is supported by the Office for Teaching and Learning within in the Office of the Provost. Funds in the amount of $1,200 will be set aside for us to hire an undergraduate who will assist our ongoing research. We are finalizing the process for how the funds will be disbursed, and we will update you shortly.

Very soon the undergraduate research position will be listed within GWork. The review process of applications will be closed on March 1, 2014.

About us

Our research is focused on auditory information processing and hearing-related behaviors. It involves techniques of neurosurgery, anatomy, physiology, imaging and computation. Different projects are available to highly motivated and dedicated junior or senior undergraduate students who are planning to apply for medical schools or graduate schools.

Students from CCAS, SEAS and SMHS are welcome to send your CV/resume and a brief description of your previous lab experience and related coursework to gwu2@gwu.edu.

Previous coursework in PSYC2015 (Biological Psychology) or other relevant courses are highly recommended.
