MONSOON MAY IS OVER AND JUNE SUMMER BEGINS

2. June begins summer time, ending the Monsoon of May in Maryland: tour the new GWUMC OR’s and education floor with its simulated patients and skills labs.
3. Summer travel schedule for me and a well-traveled accessory. 
4. My overture to the ELDP program prior to my first visit and following my filling out the application for the GSEHD graduate program. 
5. Encouraging correspondence from a runner, climber, and medical mission “wannabe” . 
6. Eventful meetings with the Tibetan Buddhist connection in the DC/Derwood area, the ELDP of the GSEHD on the Loudon VA GWU campus, and with our Haiti students group traveling entourage, capped off with a visit to the private office of the US Senate Majority Leader, Bill Frist.
7. It looks good, as an "early" edition! 
8. A serendipitous connection from my Web page to a new group: GWTrails. 
9. Introduction to two residents from the University of Rochester who will be joining in the Lingshed Trek .
