Short Bio:

WENJING (Wendy) DUAN is an Associate Professor in Information Systems and Technology Management (ISTM) at the School of Business of The George Washington University (GWU). She received her PhD in Information Systems from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin in 2006. Professor Duan’s research themes glide the intersections between Information Systems, Economics, and Marketing. Her primary research interests include the economics of e-commerce, electronic marketplaces and Internet marketing, online user-generated content and social media, online communities and social networks, and healthcare and IT.
