Two Postdoctoral Positions

Two postdoctoral positions, one funded by the NSF and the other by the NIH, to conduct psychophysical and fMRI studies of selective attention, with neurologically normal and brain damaged populations, are available immediately. Initial appointment is for one year, with annual extensions based on successful performance. Required qualifications:

  • a PhD (completed before the start date)
  • strong research background
  • strong programming skills (MATLAB/Psychtoolbox preferred)
  • experience with visual psychophysics

Highly preferred qualifications:

  • background in vision research or related fields
  • strong computational skills
  • experience with fMRI, or other neuroimaging methods
  • ability and desire to conduct independent research
  • experience with and/or interest in collaborative, multi-method research approaches
