Description of Theme:

Animals have long been a source of entertainment for humans – from animal fighting in Greek and Roman times, to traveling circuses and a variety of movie and television depictions of our furry friends. While many shows featuring animals are meant for entertainment, are they fairly treating the “performers”? What kind of value do we place on animals? Is the way we change their natural habits and lifestyles for our pleasure doing unnecessary harm, or is people’s affection and care for them helping make their life better?
