Production prototype harmonic radar planar antenna developed by Michael Volz that was 50% smaller and 85% cheaper than the previous generation patented design. Red arrow indicates flow of incident energy through to harmonic generating diode and back to the patch that primarily radiates the second harmonic of the radar transmitter.
Senior Design through-wall radar, sponsored by the Radar Division of the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC.
This project took First Place amonng Senior Design projects.
(Components temporarily mounted due to feed-forward self-interference cancellation work in progress).
