Our research is an integrated, multi-faceted program that addresses, from theory to practice, new sample introduction devices and novel plasma sources for optical and mass spectrometry. The primary aim is to ultimately develop measurement technologies that will, compared to the existing technology, offer better selectivity, sensitivity, precision, reliability, and ease of operation; allow chemical analysis at reduced cost with less sample consumption and minimal waste generation; diminish instrument size and cost; and simplify analytical measurements. |
