Math 51: Finite Mathematics for the Social and Management Sciences


Homework Problems: Although the homework may not be collected, it is important to keep up with the coursework by doing the homework problems. Here is the typical advice for learning mathematics:

1.     It is important to study on a regular basis;

2.     Study to understand the concepts; Read explanations and study examples;

3.     Work exercises and relate to concepts; and

4.      Review what you have done to be sure you understand how you solved the problem.

When needed, go back to step 2.
