INTRODUCTION

This page contains many of the history museums in the United States that are available on the internet. Again this is by no means an exhaustive list. I have alphabetized the list to make it more user friendly. Some of the sites contain many exhibits and other information from the museums. Other sites provide limited exhibits but lots of other information. Enjoy your visit!

• Honolulu Community College Dinosaur Exhibit - For the first time in Hawaii, there is a unique, free, permanent exhibit of dinosaur fossils available for public viewing. These "fossils" are replicas from the originals at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, which boasts one of the finest and largest collections of dinosaur fossils in the world.

• Steamer William G Mather Museum - North eastern Ohio's only floating maritime museum The Mather is a restored 1925 Great Lakes ore boat. She was retired in 1980 and became a museum in 1990.
