I'm a graduate student in Vertes Research Group at the Department of Chemistry of the George Washington University.

My current research interests focus on developing and applying novel ionization techniques to be coupled with ion mobility separation mass spectrometry for metabolic and lipidomic analysis of single cells and their subcellular compartments. The ionization techniques include laser ablation electrosrpay ionization (LAESI) and capillary microsampling electrospray ionization. I'm also interested in coupling these novel mass spectrometry methods with subcellular micromanipulation tools to follow the responses of purturbed cells by drug treatment or environmental challenges.
