  • General Web Resources

  • This is the website of one of the largest Goth music festivals in Europe. It helps if you speak German, but you'll get the idea.
  • Music Database - bills itself as "the world's largest Industrial/Gothic music index."
  • Middle Pillar - a commercial site, but also a good place to find out what's considered "Goth" or one of its related genres.
  • The Gothic Music Handbook. Lists and gives background on many bands past and present. It is *not* exhaustive, but it is useful.
  • Gothic:A Beginners Guide to Collecting the Music. This hasn't been updated in years, but it gives a concise history of the genre's seminal bands.
  • Lestat's 120 Minutes of Gothic Music - silly name, but a good place to hear some of the music the other sites just tell you about.
