autobiography, he
declared out of all the things he had published he only regreted seven
publications. His semi-autobiographical A Voyage Round the World
was one of these seven.
2. Dunton's father, John Dunton Sr. was an Anglican minister.
When one
volume of his sermons sold well, Dunton appears to have taken this as a
cue to publish more material under his father's name. Several of these
books are also regreted.
