The very first book that came out on Second Life was Second Life: The
Official Guide by Michael Rymaszewski, Wagner James Au, Mark Wallace,
Catherine Winters, Cory Ondrejka, and Benjamin Batstone-Cunningham. It is
a high quality book and for a first attempt at describing Second Life it
is an amazing accomplishment. Hence, I thought it would be appropriate to
provide it with a separate listing all its own. This book covers the
basics of Second Life: using the software, learning the culture,
exploring, scripting, and building. Later books begin to focus more or
less on a subset of these topics as the following categories will
reveal.
