Thank you! And thanks to them!
I recognize a certain positive feedback, when I like to follow their lead into what they may dream. I had forwarded one of those who is now a "wannabe" (below) and I attach another.
Thanks again!

Dr. Geelhoed,
My name is James Spencer, and I am taking Tropical Infectious Disease
with Dr. Peter Hotez, in which you gave a lecture on March 3 (Wednesday),
2004. I would first like to thank you for taking the time out of your
undoubtedly busy schedule to come talk to us. Your presentation was
absolutely amazing, not to mention extremely informative. Despite the fact
that you said you weren't coming to our class as a recruiter, I couldn't
help but be inspired by all that you've accomplished, and think that such an
opportunity would be beyond measure. As such, I would like to volunteer my
skills and time, should you need any undergraduate students on any of your
future expeditions. Although I have no medical training, I am sure that
there are other ways that I may be of assistance to you. I have over two
years of laboratory‑based, research experience, which may prove useful to
you. Further, I also speak some French. Again, I'm not sure how useful
this would be to you, as I'm not sure how much work you do in Francophone
Africa, but it may come in handy. I look forward to hearing from you!!
Thanks again for taking the time to speak with us.
Sincerely,
James Spencer

Dr. Geelhoed‑
Hi! My name is Amy Fiedler and I am in Dr. Hotez's Tropical Infectious Diseases class which you lectured to today. I am the one who's a runner and stayed after to look at your pictures.
I am very interested in going on a trip with you if that is at all possible. I have been browsing your website and think it just looks amazing. If you could just give me some additional information about what I would do on the trip if I would go, where you are planning trips, cost, etc. that would be great.
Thank you so much for your lecture today. It was incredibly inspiring.
‑Amy

Glenn; Several students have gone out of their way to tell me how much they loved your class. As I might have predicted your words and thoughts were a source of great inspiration! I deeply appreciate your giving up precious time to address the students. Warmest regards, Peter
