Current Research Interests

My research focuses on understanding psychological and biological bases of memory and cognition. Much of our research uses psychopharmacological methods to examine the relation between brain functions and cognitive processes. Topics of current interest include:

1) pharmacological amnesia and methods for examining unconscious memory;
2) the effects of gonadal and andrenal steroids on memory, attention and perception; and
3) the influence of obesity on working memory and executive function.
