A General Overview of the Creative Writing Program at GW

A diverse faculty of dedicated writers and teachers leads an all-undergraduate creative writing program offers approximately 30 workshops to GW students each semester. Through its Jenny McKean Moore endowment, the program hosts a visiting writer each year, who conducts a free creative writing workshop on a competitive basis for Washington community members each semester. An extensive program of public programs, including the new World Literature Residency, showcases a range of dynamic writing.
