I am an Assistant Professor in the Department
of Political Science at The George Washington
University in Washington,
DC. I was previously an Assistant
Professor at Stony
Brook University.
My research and teaching interests center on American politics, judicial
politics, and political methodology. In particular, I examine judicial decision
making, the Supreme Court, inter-branch interactions, judicial appointment
politics; public opinion, political behavior, and institutional evaluation; and
legislative politics. I also have interests in various topics related to
political methodology. My work is forthcoming or has appeared in American
Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Public Opinion
Quarterly, and other outlets.
I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in judicial politics,
methodology, and constitutional law, and graduate courses in judicial politics
and political methodology.
