I am a member of the History Department and the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. My major area of interest is Central and Eastern Europe, and my own research has largely concentrated on the Czechs and the Czech lands within the Habsburg monarchy and the wider region. The topic on which I focus is nationalism.
