Party Voting Data Set
Joseph Cooper and I put together this data set on party voting in Congress.
It includes many of the prominent scores (party unity, party voting,
cohesion, etc.) commonly seen in the literature. The data set also includes a
variety of original measures, such as the partisan, bipartisan, and
cross-partisan structuring scores. The data range from
the 40th - 108th Congresses, both House and Senate. I have some of this
data extending as early as the 1st Congress. If you are looking for earlier
scores send me an email.
Let me know if you find errors or have questions.
